It has been around 9 months since I have blogged and about 6 months since I’ve felt like I had anything that I wanted to say. To abuse an analogy, I am ready to get back on my “high horse” again but this time, not with a stepladder but an “extension” one. For my handful of followers (and anything more than a handful is wasted), this may be welcomed, and it might even generate some new interest for those who never read me?
While I was totally verklempt during the Biden years and deliriously sprung hopeful in anticipation of the second coming of The Donald, I am unimpressed and uninspired with Year One of the second term. I am beginning to feel that either: our Country is too far down the ‘road’ of decline or, the right kind of capable Leader is still the “gleam in someone’s eye” to really make any meaningful difference.
Since I have the foresight of “20/20”, I might as well get it all off my chest. I think we need a political party organization that is fiscally conservative while, at the same time, being liberally humane. Damn right ‘that be hard’ but that is exactly what is needed to get us back to any reasonable level of what is means to be the United States of America in the modern world. If it were easy, everyone likewise would be able to dunk a basketball and sing three octaves in tune.
I just think that there are too many factions within EACH of the two current parties to unite on much of anything. Each of those factions might just be individuals who have too much specific influence to accomplish anything other than to use their power to negate every other influenced opinion. Old school party ‘bosses’ seemed to be able to “whip” enough members into compliance for most important matters. Doesn’t seem so much anymore.
Since “Money Talks and Bullshit Walks” normally but in America, “Money Screams and Bullshit Prevails”, we will begin with Fiscal considerations. I totally understand that we are a Republic whereby we assign our votes to elected Representatives and not a Democracy where we would vote to decide each-and-every issue. All is not lost, however. As Jim Morrison sang for the Doors in the song Five to One: “they may have the guns, but we have the numbers.” We just must organize the votes to elect the people who will do what we want. (not so easy-peasy, I know).
As mentioned in previous writings, if The United Way charities can ask us how we prefer our donations to be allocated among various options, so The Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Could do the same exact thing. Since just like charity, taxes are OUR money, and we deserve to determine how that money is spent OR at least be able to record our preferences. I realize many people do not care about such matters and/or are unable to make informed decision but that can be handled by a category entitled: “as best needed/seen fit” exactly the United Way does it.
One Vote for every Tax Dollar can be compiled with transparent results available for all to see and notate. While I do not expect Congressional members to follow these budget guidelines EXACTLY, I would expect a fairly tight ‘range’ to be followed and if not, become subject to some “explanation” under scrutiny. Like any person of financial power, I expect this to be vigorously objected to and fought tooth-and-nail therewith. Persons Like Senators’ Rand Paul and John Kennedy non-withstanding. At the very least, this should shine a brighter ‘light’ on “dark money” and undocumented/unaccountable spending.
It seems to me that the best example for Fiscal responsibility centers around the seemingly undue influence that the country of Isreal leverages upon our Foreign Policy. Does any American really want to start World War III with Iran as Israel’s proxy? I for one have much respect for the history of Persia and its people and have no quarrel with their sovereignty. I have read many accounts over the last 3 months of the activities of AIPAC (the political lobby of the Jewish state). From refusing to register as such; to allegations of outright bribery (disguised as campaign contributions); to control of the Media “narrative,” these monetary amounts need to be transparent and completely disclosed.
Is there really a sensible reason for America to do Israel’s geo-political ‘bidding’ other than a ‘big brother’ protecting a spoiled, little brat of a ‘bully’? After all, did not Israel attack the USS Liberty killing dozens of American sailors? Did not Johnathan Pollard spy against The United States on behalf of Israel? The biggest thing I think I have learned in 2026 thus far is, the huge difference between Judaism and Zionism. I am quite sure that I am NOT anti-Jewish, and I am equally sure that I am anti-Zionist.
Judaism for me reflects my Christian-Judeo upbringing traditions; even though I believe the Bible is quite allegorical and science has proven the whole “chosen people” story to be a self-described/authored untruth. While Zionism, on the other hand, represents a certain faction’s unquenchable desire to control the entire world. Since the Rothschild banking system, (as just one example), has such financial leverage of world affairs and it has demonstrated such unequivocal support for all things Zion, I do not think that I am too far off ‘base’ here.
Once a true Leader get a firm ‘handle’ on all things financial, (and there are hundreds of such “line Items” that are woefully IN-effective and/or IN-efficient), I believe the next formidable challenge would be to establish a fair, equitable and just methodology to care for its people properly/appropriately. As mentioned previously, the ‘elephant’ obstacle in this ’room’ would be battling to suppress one’s own Human Nature while trying to access the Universe’s/God’s Divine Nature.
We have the technology (if NOT the willpower) to determine within multiple standard-deviations, a methodology to help those legal, American citizens who genuinely need any/every kind of assistance and those who merely ‘game’ the system for unnecessary, self-benefit. Human Nature is first and foremost self-serving and predominantly “subjective” and therefore, we cannot expect individuals to restrain and/or ‘police’ themselves with regard to resisting ANY temptation of governmental largesse. In theory, that is why we elect governmental/appoint governmental officials to act as objective, impartial administrators of such program needs.
When compared to other, Western countries, we manifest significant inferiorities in things like Education return-on-investment and Healthcare results versus Insurance costs. If we constantly tout the advantages/benefits of the “American Experiment” and such noble ideals of “Freedom” and “Liberty”, what is holding us back? As I have stated before, it is the absence of true Leadership at the expense of Management-both in ‘micro control’ and the ‘abuse’ of individuals’ powers.
Genuine (by definition) Leaders think and act for the ‘long-term’, ‘big picture’ of the total Organization for which they lead. Many of the current difficult challenges we face would be much less severe, or non-existent if we were “Lead” and not “managed”. Many Organizational Behaviorists cite the Leadership behaviors and practices of the Man, Jesus Christ, as the CEO of Christianity.
That undoubtedly plays a part for those people who want America to officially become a Christian Nation. Since Zionist’s ideology categorizes non-Jews at the same level as animals, I would at least be satisfied with The United States of America formally becoming classified as a Gentile Nation. Kind of close to former President George H.W. Bush’s desire for America as “Kind and Gentle” nation…hmm? Gentle and Gentile?????????
As usual, I am “waiting for a savior to rise up from these streets,” but thus far I do not see Donald J. Trump and his ‘team’ being that savior. I guess it may take more than a four-year “apprenticeship” for anyone to accomplish the major ‘overhaul’ that is needed. My hope is slowly turning into a fear that we have past the point of no return and are headed towards the historical empire ‘scrapyard’/graveyard like so many great cultures before us. If there is a saving grace, I now think it must come an awakening/revelation of the “Followers” and not dependent upon any ONE individual Leader.
